TBCArtist puts heart into new business venture
South East Queensland artist, Chantel Schott has recently launched I Heart Notebooks: a range of her delicate designs featuring on the covers of the good old fashioned notebook.
Chantel’s designs are innovative, fresh and frenzied with filigree beautification, colour and meticulous detail. Chantel has been creating art for ten years, exhibiting regularly in Queensland and Victoria; she coordinates art projects and has recently been asked to design the cover of the Women’s Legal Service Queensland annual report.
“I think there's nothing quite like getting a new notebook and finding its purpose, it becomes a trusty friend that you cart around with you from place to place so wherever you are you can always scribble, draw, dream, remind, message, sketch, glue, colour, solve, vent, plan, write, doodle, cartoon, design, list, learn, date, whisper, tale, rhyme, wish, journal and inspire” said Ms Schott.
But not only has she created a newfangled way to take delight in the notebook again, her online business also supports Queensland’s only children’s hospice located in Chermside, Brisbane.
“For every sale, I Heart Notebooks will donate $1 to Hummingbird House” said Ms Schott.
Hummingbird House will operate as an eight bed, 24/7 medical facility, providing physician and nursing support and pain and symptom management, offering emergency respite care as a key feature.
With Easter just around the corner, I Heart Notebooks is offering customers $5 off online when discount code EASTER16 is used at time of purchase between 14 - 28 March 2016.
I Heart Notebooks is located online at www.iheartnotebooks.bigcartel.com
The I Heart Notebooks range is also available at selected stockists in the Brisbane and Logan region.
